Safety of technique and technology

The discipline "Safety of engineering and technology" is a profile discipline and consists of eight sections: - introduction; - general requirements for the safety of machinery and technology; - occupational safety during mechanization and automation of production; - safety during electric welding works; - safety of operation of lifting and transport machines and mechanisms; - safety requirements for the manufacture and testing of new samples; - safety of transportation of people and goods by vehicles; - safety of operation of pressure vessels.

Introduction to Specialty

The purpose of the discipline is to form students'' basic understanding of the development of engineering and technology, scientific achievements in accordance with the chosen educational program. The discipline gives students a systematic understanding of the current state and trends in the development of the food, processing, industry, agricultural and industrial complex, including the possibilities of new information and communication technologies. As a result of studying the discipline, the student will receive theoretical and practical skills in the organization of the task, as well as the formulation and solution of highly motivated non-standard professional tasks, problems and compliance with the ethics of professional activity. Basics of the scientific organization of labor and regulatory and legal aspects of labor protection

During the course of studying the discipline, the student studies the basic rules of labor safety set out in the Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as gets acquainted with other legislative acts, regulatory and technical documents on labor protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan, standards, rules, labor protection standards, the system of labor safety standards.

The discipline "Occupational health and safety" consists of two sections: Occupational safety; Life safety. The labor protection section affects the following aspects: full responsibility of the employer for the state of labor protection at the enterprise, widespread use of the achievements of modern science and technology, compliance with labor protection and safety standards, providing employees with personal protective equipment, investigating and recording each accident and occupational disease, social protecting the interests of employees.Life safety section: balancing solutions for the preservation of the environment from man-made impacts and technical development of industry, ensuring environmental safety and restoring natural resources, ensuring the preservation of biological diversity and environmental objects, international cooperation in the field of environmental protection.

Ecology and life safety

The purpose of the discipline is to form an idea of ecology as a scientific discipline and its role in maintaining the sustainable development of nature and society. As a result of the training, the student will be able to take part in the analysis of the environmental situation with regard to its safety and harmlessness, develop and implement methods and programs in the field of life safety, environmental protection, to prevent emergencies using means and methods of control.

Ecological analytical control of environment

The purpose of the discipline is to master the theoretical foundations of this scientific discipline, to master modern methods of analysis necessary for conducting eco-analytical monitoring. The subject of the discipline is the study of the properties of the main chemical pollutants, their behavior in the environment and methods of chemical, physico-chemical and biological control of them in industrial emissions, environmental objects, food products.

Fire safety

The discipline forms an idea of fire safety, the theoretical foundations of the gorenje process and modern methods of fire extinguishing, assessment of the state of the fire, category of fires, extinguishing agents, fire equipment, calculation of the time of extinguishing the fire.
